MORE SPECIAL GUESTS ADDED TO OUR VIRTUAL FESTIVAL
We have had some fabulous guest chefs at the Bishop Auckland Food Festival and, in 2019 at Seaham Food Festival too. We work hard to make sure that each guest gives us a little inspiration for home cooking and it also gives you, our visitors, the chance to meet some of your favourite TV chefs and personalities.
Over the years, our famous chefs have included Rosemary Shrager, ITV This Morning’s Phil Vickery, Masterchef’s Greg Wallace and John Torode, Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown and many, many more.
During lockdown, it seems to have been the new normal to watch lots of celebrities take to Instagram and Facebook with their videos, top tips and recipes. As part of our plans, we have been in touch with a few friends of the Food Festival and chatted to some fantastic TV chefs, who have been brilliant through lockdown, to bring you some of their favourite dishes.
We have a great mix of savoury and sweet dishes from our celebrity chefs to tempt any taste buds. We will be getting our ‘bake on’ with some Great British Bake Off contestants, as well as planning for dinners with some great TV favourite chefs.
