FEATURED PRODUCER – WEARDALE CHEESE

Since March, here at Weardale Cheese I have kept on making batches of cheese, small amounts to begin with then increasing as orders improved.
Like with a lot of traders, all of the markets, fairs and shows came to a halt and quite a few of my retail customers also closed.
However, those that remained open, saw an increase in sales as people stayed close to home and then also, people started ordering home deliveries. Whilst I didn’t do any myself, I have collaborated with 7 different others traders and companies who were delivering door to door which helped get our cheese delivered.
We are delighted too, to have even more retail customers who were open and began stocking our cheese.
We are here and working hard, we look forward to being back at events, in the meantime buy our produce from these great stockists in North East and Cumbria: –
