Since lockdown the little Quaker distillery have had to adapt like most business their core sales were hit by covid. Bars and restaurants have been heavily hit and that has meant we here at little Quaker have had to be flexible.

During lockdown we started doing online cocktails that people could do at home and this led to us doing ready mixed cocktails using our range of Quaker gin and rums. On the back of that came the tasting hampers which have been ever so popular.

More recently we won some awards for our gin. Quaker Gin Triumphs at the World’s Most Prestigious ‘Triple Blind Tasting’

Exciting news – The Little Quaker distillery won an incredibly important Gold CWSA 2020 medal.

“Triumphing at CWSA 2020 makes us so happy and proud. The CWSA Triple Blind Tasting Formula means that every product entered is judged on equal merit. This is a very tough contest and the spirit needs to perform. Winning a Gold CWSA medal means our hard work and technical knowledge is recognised at the highest level,” reported Paul Colman co-owner of The Little Quaker Distillery.

“The industry and consumers alike know that CWSA Medals indicate absolute quality and our bottles are irresistible in their CWSA 2020 Gold CWSA Medals.” For the guys at Quaker coming so fast on the back of their recent triumph at the IWSC awards this is testament to their brand and also the fact that they are the quintessential craft distillers.

They now head into the Christmas period looking to expand into their new premises launching with a new gin and hope to fight through the horrid year that has been 2020 with a bit more success.
